In Roman mythology, Janus (or Ianus) was the god of gates, doors, doorways, beginnings and endings. His most prominent remnant in modern culture is his namesake, the month of January, which begins the new year. He is most often depicted as having two faces or heads, facing in opposite directions.

Here is my Spiritdoll Abies 'revamped'! He's a vampire/ghost but wasn't quite looking the part. With some texturing I think he looks more like the walking dead he's supposed to portray. I may go with additional red tones in his face to bring out the vamp in him some more, but overall I'm really pleased with him and it was fun to go crazy texturing the whole doll ~ alot like painting on canvas which I miss doing.

Halloween Doll Party

Last weekend I hosted a party for all my local friends in our doll group.
The theme was Halloween and everyone dressed up, even the 'owners'. ^^

Punx Not Dead!

Here's a teaser of a series I'm shooting with my Dollshe guys Timo (SA Bermann) and
Feyd (Hound). I love the punk movement of the 70's that came out of England and that
inspired this shoot. ^^
